Fund Budget by Period
This report lets you see the budgeted revenues and expenses allocated to each fund.
Prerequisite
- Logicim XLGL version 5.0 or higher
- Microsoft Excel 2016 or higher
- Sage 50 Canadian Edition (2014 and above)
What the Report does
This report is exceptionally useful when you want a detailed and summary breakdown of the expenses and revenues incurred per fund.
How to use the Report
- Cell C8 on the Instructions worksheet is where you choose the fiscal period.

- Once you set up the dates, click the Refresh button on the Logicim XLGL ribbon.

- The Report will then automatically populate the pivot table with values.
Common use cases
This report gives you a good drill down of your fund’s budgeted revenues and expenses. It is a good way of tracking when and where those occurred.
Troubleshooting
- Issue A: No values appear on the worksheet.
- Solution A: Ensure your account has the necessary permissions to access the Accounts & General Ledger.
- Issue B: Wrong values appear on the worksheet.
- Solution B: Ensure that you are connected to the right company.

- Q: I only want to see funds that I want to analyze for the time being.
- A: Yes, you can! The report is a pivot table, and you can uncheck funds that you don’t want to see.

Best practices
Always connect to the correct company before loading this Report. Ensure the Refresh after opening checkbox is selected. This ensures the Report loads company-specific data accurately and eliminates the need to click the Refresh button on the Logicim XLGL ribbon.
