How can I add users and assign roles in my Logicim XLGL Platform Plan?
You can add users and assign roles in your Logicim XLGL Platform Plan from the Manage Plan page.
The roles available depend on your plan type:
- Business Plan → Supports User role assignment only
- Enterprise Plan → Supports User, Manager, Buyer, and Owner role assignments
Before you start
To add users or assign roles, you must access the Manage Plan page.
Steps
- Go to Profile.
- Select Logicim XLGL Platform Plans from the left menu.
- Click Manage on the applicable Platform Plan.
- Scroll down to the Users and Activations section.
- Make sure the Users tab is selected.
Business Plan
Available role
The Business Plan supports the User role only.
A User can access and use the Logicim XLGL, and each active User consumes one license.
Owner in Business Plan
In the Business Plan, the Owner is the account that purchased and owns the plan.
The Owner:
- Is automatically assigned to the purchaser account
- Can manage the plan
- Cannot be reassigned or managed like other roles
- Is fixed as the plan owner within the system
The Owner is also assigned as a User by default. However, the User role can be unchecked if the Owner does not need to use the license. This makes the license available for another user.
How to add a User in Business Plan
- Go to the Manage Plan page.
- Scroll down to Users and Activations.
- Make sure the Users tab is selected.
- Click Add User.
- Enter the user information.
- Click Update.
The number of active users you can add depends on your available license count.
How to remove a User
To temporarily remove a user’s access:
- Click the edit/pencil icon beside the user.
- Uncheck the User role.
- Click Update.
To permanently remove a user from the plan, click the Remove/trash icon.

If the license count is 3, only 3 active Users can access and use the plan.
If you need to add another user, you must either:
- Increase the license count, or
- Deassign an existing User by unchecking the User role
Enterprise Plan
Available roles
The Enterprise Plan supports the following roles:
- User
- Manager
- Buyer
- Owner
Each role has a different purpose. To learn more, see Understanding roles and permissions in the Logicim XLGL Platform Plan.
How to add a User in Enterprise Plan
- Go to the Manage Plan page.
- Scroll down to Users and Activations.
- Make sure the Users tab is selected.
- Click Add User.
- Enter the user information.
- Click Update.
When a new user is added, the account is automatically assigned the User role by default. You can edit the role after the user is added.
How to assign a Manager role
- Click the edit/pencil icon beside the user.
- Check the Manager role.
- If the account should not use a license, uncheck the User role.
- Click Update.
A Manager without the User role does not consume a license and cannot use the Logicim XLGL.
How to assign a Buyer role
- Click the edit/pencil icon beside the user.
- Check the Buyer role.
- If the account should not use a license, uncheck the User role.
- Click Update.
A Buyer without the User role does not consume a license and cannot use the Logicim XLGL.
How to assign an Owner role
- Click the edit/pencil icon beside the user.
- Check the Owner role.
- If the account should not use a license, uncheck the User role.
- Click Update.
An Owner without the User role can manage the plan but does not consume a license.
