How do refunds work in the new Platform Plan?
Refunds for Logicim new Platform Plans are designed to be clear, fair, and consistent. Whether users are converting from serial numbers, adjusting license quantities, or renewing a plan, these rules help ensure smooth license management.
Refunds for Converting from Serial Numbers
- Conversions can be refunded, but the original serial number is not restored.
- If a conversion is refunded, the Platform Plan is disabled.
- The Platform Plan cannot be reactivated without a new transaction.
Refunds for Added Licenses
- Refunded license quantities are removed from the plan.
- If the remaining license count falls below the product minimum, the plan is deactivated.
Example: A Business Plan requires at least 2 licenses. If only 1 license remains after a refund, the plan is deactivated.
Refunds for Entire Plans
- If no additional licenses were added, refunding the plan deactivates it.
- If licenses were added after the original purchase, the plan license count is reduced based on the original order quantity.
- The plan remains active only if the remaining license count still meets the product minimum.
Example: A Business Plan with fewer than 2 remaining licenses after a refund is deactivated.
Refunds for Renewals
- Refunding a renewal immediately deactivates the plan.
- The plan’s status changes to
Inactive.
These refund policies are intended to maintain transparency, fairness, and consistency across all new Platform Plans.
All refunded plans are automatically set to Inactive. This means the plan is deactivated and cancelled. Access to new Platform Plan features and services associated with the subscription may be affected or permanently discontinued.
Can I Reactivate a Refunded Plan?
Yes. A refunded plan can be reactivated by completing a new transaction.
