The Aged payable Report overviews outstanding supplier invoices categorized by aging periods. This Report tracks due payments, manages cash flow, and avoids late fees by ensuring timely vendor payments.
Prerequisites
- Logicim XLGL version 5.0 or higher
- Microsoft Excel 2016 or higher
- Familiarity with Excel PivotTables
- Sage 50 US edition (2021 and above)
What the Report does
The Aged Payable Report enables you to:
- Track outstanding payables: View supplier invoices grouped by aging periods.
- Choose aging method: Select whether to age invoices by Invoice Date or Due Date.
- Analyze trends: Identify trends in payables over time.
- Visualize payable data: Includes charts for:
- Payables breakdown by aging period
- Monthly payables trend
- Top 20 payables by vendor
How to use the Report
- Open the Report workbook.
- Go to the Instructions sheet.
- Set Parameters:
- Provide the As of date (e.g., 12/31/2024) to define the aging reference point.
- Select Age Invoices by (choose between Invoice Date or Due Date from the dropdown list).
- Click the Refresh button on the Logicim XLGL tab to update the Report.
- Review the Report:
- Aging summary: View outstanding invoices grouped by aging periods
- Vendor details: See a breakdown of payables per supplier.
- Charts: Analyze trends and outstanding balances visually.
Customization options
- Adjust the As of date and Age Invoices by based on business requirements.
- Modify filters to focus on specific suppliers or periods.
