Logicim XLGL installation and activation

Getting ready to install

Before you can download and install Logicim XLGL, make sure you have already purchased a Logicim XLGL Platform Plan.

1. Go to your Logicim account.
2. Open the Download Logicim XLGL tab.
3. Click the Download button for the latest version of Logicim XLGL.

Before installing, make sure to:

1. Review the requirements section of the Logicim XLGL page; and
2. Close all Microsoft Excel and Sage 50 windows.

Installation

1. Once the file is downloaded, open it to run the installation program.
2. Accept the user license agreement.
3. Click Next through the setup screens.
4. Click Install to start the installation.
5. When the installation is complete, close the installation wizard.
6. Open Microsoft Excel.
7. Check that the XLGL ribbon is available.

If you do not see the XLGL ribbon, or if the buttons on the ribbon are unresponsive, please see the troubleshooting video at the bottom of this page.

Activation

The first time you install Logicim XLGL, you need to activate your license.

Logicim XLGL can be activated using your Logicim XLGL Platform Plan. Your license is linked to your Logicim account subscription, making activation faster and easier.

Activate your Logicim XLGL Platform Plan

1. Open Microsoft Excel.
2. Go to the XLGL ribbon.
3. Click Connect.
4. Sign in using your Logicim credentials.

After you sign in successfully, Logicim XLGL will activate your license automatically.

Verify your licensing information

To verify your licensing information:

1. Go to the XLGL ribbon.
2. Click About.
3. Click Licensing.
