Logicim's ready-to-use Sage 50 US Customer Management Detail

Customer Management Detail

Customer Management Detail is a Sage 50 US Ready-to-Use Report for Accounts Receivable review. It shows customer invoice details, due dates, credit status, current balances, and amount remaining for the date range selected on the Instructions worksheet.

Prerequisites

  1. Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, Windows 11 Pro, or Windows terminal server (2012 and above)
  2. Microsoft Office 365
  3. Sage 50 US edition (2021 and above)
  4. Internet connection

What the Report Does

Customer Management Detail uses Instructions date inputs C8 and C9 to build the period heading on Report. The Report worksheet lists customer invoice rows with Customer ID, Customer Name, Invoice Number, Due Date, Credit Limit, Current, Amount Remaining, and Days to Pay. The workbook's hidden Data worksheet supports the visible output and includes a Days to Pay calculation that returns 0 when the amount remaining is 0 and otherwise compares the due date with today's date. The visible Report worksheet also includes a Grand Total row for the amount remaining shown in the output.

How to Use the Report

Step 1) Enter the date range on Instructions by updating C8 for the start date and C9 for the end date.

Customization Options

You can change the selected period by editing C8 and C9 on Instructions, then refreshing the Report. You can also use normal Excel formatting, filtering, or sorting on a copy of the workbook when you need a different view. For structural changes, additional fields, different calculations, or a redesigned Accounts Receivable layout, use the customization link on Instructions or request a Custom Report from Logicim.

Common Use Cases

  1. Review Accounts Receivable customer invoice detail for a selected period.
  2. Check due dates, amount remaining, and days-to-pay values for collection follow-up.
  3. Compare credit limits, current balances, and amount remaining across customers.
  4. Use the Grand Total row to reconcile the total amount remaining shown by Customer Management Detail.

Troubleshooting

  1. Issue: The period shown on Report does not match the review period. Solution: Confirm the Start date in C8 and End date in C9 on Instructions, then click Refresh on the Logicim XLGL ribbon.
  2. Issue: The Report shows information for the wrong company. Solution: Confirm that Logicim XLGL is connected to the correct Sage 50 US company. The company name appears near the top of Report.
  3. Issue: An expected customer or invoice is missing. Solution: Confirm that the invoice belongs in the selected date range and that the customer invoice data exists in Sage 50 US, then refresh the Report.
  4. Issue: A Days to Pay value looks unexpected. Solution: Check the related invoice due date and amount remaining in Sage 50 US. The workbook calculation returns 0 when the amount remaining is 0 and otherwise compares the due date with today's date.
