Vendor Invoice Log

Vendor Invoice Log is a report that lists vendor invoices recorded within a selected period, including details such as invoice numbers, dates, vendors, and amounts. It helps users monitor accounts payable transactions and track outstanding or paid vendor invoices.

Prerequisites

  1. Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, Windows 11 Pro, or Windows terminal server (2012 and above)
  2. Microsoft Office 365
  3. Sage 50 US edition (2021 and above) 
  4. Internet connection

What the Report Does

This report provides a detailed record of vendor invoices and credits, showing invoice numbers, dates, line-item descriptions, and amounts for each vendor. It helps users track purchases, monitor vendor spending, analyze invoice activity over time, and identify the vendors with the highest invoice volumes and total invoice amounts through summary charts and dashboards.

How to Use the Report

1) Enter the starting and end dates in C9 and C10.

2) Click Refresh on the XLGL ribbon.

3) Review the result:

b) Chart

Customization Options

  1. Adjust the desired year in the Parameters sheet to generate data for a different period. 
  2. Select the column and row you want to filter by clicking the Autofilter

  1. Track and review vendor invoices and credit notes for a selected period.

  3. Analyze invoice trends and identify vendors with the highest invoice volume and amounts.
