Introduction

The Balance Sheet - Unf Report shows assets, liabilities, and equity at the date entered in the workbook.

What the Report does

The Balance Sheet worksheet uses D2 for the Report date and shows grouped asset, liability, and equity sections with totals such as TOTAL ASSETS, TOTAL LIABILITIES, and TOTAL EQUITY.

How to use the Report

Step 1: Enter the Report date in Balance Sheet!D2, then select Refresh.

Step 2: Confirm the refreshed heading in C4.

Step 3: Review the asset, liability, and equity sections.

Step 4: Use the outline controls to switch between summary and detail.

Customization options

Change the date in D2 and use the worksheet outline controls to adjust the visible level of detail.

Common use cases

  1. Review assets, liabilities, and equity at a selected date.
  2. Check major balance-sheet totals.
  3. Move between a high-level summary and supporting account lines.

Troubleshooting

Issue: The Report shows the wrong date or level of detail.
