Introduction

The Sales Item Summary Report summarizes items sold for a selected period, including unit, count, quantity, and amount.

What the Report does

The Report worksheet shows Type, Item Number, Description, Unit, Count, Quantity, and Amount, plus Sales Total, Receipts & Deposits Total, and Grand Total. The Chart worksheet shows Sales Synopsis Summary.

How to use the Report

Step 1: Enter the start date in Instructions!C8 and the end date in Instructions!C9, then select Refresh.

Step 2: Select Go to Report... and review item rows and totals.

Step 3: Select Go to Chart... to review Sales Synopsis Summary.

Customization options

Change the Report period with Instructions!C8:C9 before refreshing.

Common use cases

  1. Review sales-item amounts for a selected period.
  2. Compare item Count, Quantity, and Amount.
  3. Review sales, receipts and deposits, and grand totals.

Troubleshooting

Issue: The Report or Chart shows an unexpected period.
Solution: Verify Instructions!C8:C9, select Refresh, and confirm the period shown on Report.
