Introduction

The Tax Report summarizes taxable transactions and tax amounts collected, paid, or owed during a selected period.

What the Report does

It provides Summary Report, Detail Report, and Chart results for tax-related activity, liabilities, and calculation reviews.

How to use the Report

Step 1: Enter the starting date in C8 and the ending date in C9.

Step 2: Select Refresh on the XLGL ribbon.

Step 3: Review the Summary Report, Detail Report, and Chart results.

Customization options

Adjust the desired year on the Parameters sheet and use Autofilter on the required row or column.

Common use cases

  1. Review taxes collected and paid during a period.
  2. Support tax filing and compliance reviews.
  3. Verify tax calculations and investigate discrepancies.

Troubleshooting

Issue: No data is populated.
Solution: Verify the input parameters and confirm that the selected date range contains records, then select Refresh.

A: Select an arrow in the relevant column and use Autofilter to narrow the visible results.
