Logicim's ready-to-use Sage 50 CA Inventory Aging

Inventory Aging

The Inventory Aging Report provides a detailed analysis of inventory stock value categorized by age. It helps identify slow-moving inventory and assess stock health across locations and item types.

Prerequisites

  1. Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, Windows 11 Pro, or Windows Terminal Server (2012 and above).
  2. Microsoft Office 365.
  3. Sage 50 Canadian edition (2014 and above).
  4. Internet connection.

What the Report Does

The Report evaluates inventory data and categorizes stock into age groups, including 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, and over 120 days.

The Inventory Aging Detail worksheet displays item information, including Age in Days, Quantity on Hand, and Current Stock Value. The Report also shows the total inventory value distributed across age categories and includes charts highlighting top locations and item types.

How to Use the Report

Step 1: On the Instructions worksheet, enter the start date in cell C6 and the end date in cell C7.

Step 2: Click the Refresh button on the XLGL ribbon.

Step 3: Review the inventory aging details on the Report worksheet.

Step 4: Review the inventory age, location, and item-type summaries on the Chart worksheet.

Customization Options

  1. Use the filter arrows on the Inventory Aging Detail worksheet to isolate specific inventory age categories, item IDs, or item descriptions.
  2. Use the customization link on the Instructions worksheet or request a Custom Report from Logicim for additional fields, calculations, filters, or layout changes.
