Sales Order Register

The Sales Order Register Report helps you review Sage 50 US sales orders for a selected period. It lists each sales order with its order date, ship by date, status, customer description, amount, and a grand total so you can review open and closed order activity in Excel.

Prerequisites

  1. Latest Logicim XLGL version.
  2. Microsoft Excel 2016 or higher.
  3. A Sage 50 US company connected to Logicim XLGL.
  4. Access to the Sales Order Register Ready-to-Use Report in the Accounts Receivable group.

What the Report Does

The Report worksheet shows the company name, the selected period, and sales order rows with Sales Order Number, Date, Ship By Date, Status, Description, and Amount columns, followed by Grand Total. The Chart worksheet summarizes the same period with Sales Orders by Month and Order Status Overview visuals.

How to Use the Report

1) Enter the reporting period in the Start and End date cells on the Instructions worksheet.

2) Click Refresh on the XLGL ribbon to update the Report for the selected period.

3) Click Go to Report... to open the Report worksheet and review the sales order list, order statuses, amounts, and Grand Total.

4) Click Go to Chart... to open the Chart worksheet and review Sales Orders by Month and Order Status Overview.

5) Use the Excel filter buttons on the Report worksheet headers when you need to focus on a specific sales order number, date, ship by date, status, description, or amount.

Customization Options

You can change the Start and End dates on the Instructions worksheet, use the Excel filters on the Report worksheet, and apply ordinary Excel formatting to a saved copy. The workbook also includes a Click here to have this report customized for you link for changes beyond date selection, filtering, or formatting.
